...for this 13-14 weeks of hard work and ups and downs...i really wanna thank god for giving me the luxury and time to learn this subject...dr.ken for his guidance and lectures throughout the class...madam ling for her never-ending help and worthy comments which i learned sssssssssssssoooooooooooooo much frm her...my collegues; froggie, mugen, med, koja, biguun to name a few...for their support and making the class fun to go...without them, i may just sitting at the corner of the class...hehe...

...i am thankful for everything and hopefully i'll be with u guys again soon...n dont worry, this blog will not be deleted by me...its for future reference... ^_^...

“Love The Future”

Ideation

This poster represents what will happen in the future when global warming is not being stopped and lead to the extinction of species of flora and fauna. Most of the species will only appear in books and pictures. Hence, our future generation will not able to see and believe whether it really exists or not.

...assignment 3: 03-completed?...

...now for the corners of the book, i used pen tool to draw the curve, pathfinder to cut it...and make a copy...later i gradient them to give it a bit of 3d like...

...then put the symbol on assignment 1 here...

...add some wordings using arabella font for the tagline...and modified arial for the "lovethefuture.com"...

...when its done...make a new layer and mask everything...ctrl a > make > clipping mask...and there u go...done...

...assignment 3: 02-first 5 simple steps?...

...guess im gonna make this poster as simple and as straight forward...as possible...

...first and foremost, lay down all the layout that i wanna drw on the artwork as my guides...

...for the emblem, my favorite pen tool is used in drawing it and also the "enchanted" writing as well...and add some of its shadow to give a 3d look...

...next, make a rounded rectangle by making a basic rectangle and later effect > convert to shape > rounded rectangle...add some style by clicking effect > svg filters > ai_woodgrain and adjusting its transparency...lastly to get the shadow behind, just effect > stylize > outer glow...

...then make an ellipse at the middle and put some color with a little bit of transparency...

...n for this part, i placed my last assignment-the enggang at the middle...n whalla~! the book nearly done...n save it...

...assignment 3: 01-poster?...

...for the last assgmnt, we have been told to make a poster...n i have no idea on what i wanted to do...so back to the skectching pad and some references as my guide...ive decided on making something quite different...and try to break the rule once a while...now im ready...
